Dispatch & shipment.
- Our next-day dispatch policy applies to all orders placed on a
Monday through Friday, (excluding public and/or bank holidays) before
6pm London time. For orders placed at other times we will dispatch on
the next business day. Special delivery schedules apply over the
Easter, Christmas and New Year periods.
- Our aim is to deliver goods as soon as possible. If we (or our
agents) make no attempt to deliver on or before the fifth business day
after confirming your order for goods shown as available "now", you are
entitled to a full refund on goods, packaging and shipping costs upon
return of the goods.
- We ship only to UK and Republic of Ireland addresses, as defined
by Royal Mail. The delivery charges quoted on this website apply only
to such addresses.
- Loss in transit In the case that an order we have shipped to you
is lost in transit, we will replace or refund the lost items at your
preference, provided you cooperate fully with our efforts to claim for
the loss from third parties. This may involve you having to complete
forms and/or sign statements of non-receipt of goods.
Satisfaction guarantee and Cancellations
- Every purchase from our website is covered by our 30-day
satisfaction guarantee. We guarantee a full refund for unopened goods
in saleable condition and we arrange for free shipping back to us.
Please contact us so that we can organise the return and your refund.
- In the unlikely event that you receive faulty, damaged or
incorrect goods, please return the goods unused in their original
packaging together with a copy of our invoice or delivery note within
30 days of purchase to us. If you follow our returns procedure or
contact us first, we will reimburse you for the return of the goods.
Once we receive your return, we will give you the choice of exchanging
the goods or a full refund.
- You may cancel your order in accordance with your rights under
the Distance Selling Regulations. To cancel your order you must contact
us within 7 days of delivery of your purchase quoting your Order
Number. You must take reasonable care of the goods and must not use
them. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will
receive a full refund for the goods plus postage & packaging costs
of the returned goods as soom as we receive them.
- If either you or Batteries Direct cancels an order prior to
dispatch and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a
full refund.
